About Me!

Hi, my name is Lydia and I live in Walsall, West Midlands, UK and I adore Syrian Hamsters. I love them of all shapes, sizes, colours and backgrounds :D I rescued my first Syrian, Hammy, from a family friend who was scared of her biting. I was 7 at the time and Hammy turned out to be the most friendly golden fluff ball in the world. She never, ever bit anyone. Since then, I have owned over 15 hamsters and think they are amazing and beautiful creatures! In the future I hope to extend my passion for them by owning more, getting more involved in showing and starting breeding.  I enjoy all aspects of owning hamsters including the messy parts :L

 On my website, there is a page of advice on hamster care. This is how I believe is the best way to look after my hamsters and it is the knowledge I have gained over the last 8 years. It is my own opinion entirely but I though that I would share it with you :)
